"And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters." Genesis 1:2
The earth's foundation was complete, but still a "tohu wa buho" or in "chaos"-not in order. Yet it is full of water. The waters gather in one place and appears in one form as opposed to the present state wherein it integrates with others of any kind/form.Its volume was obviously greater than it appears today. The Holy Spirit, the 2nd person of the Godhead was moving upon the surface of the water. The first recorded Person in the Trinity at work in the creative process. It was moving upon an unfinished "creature".
The Christian life is always on the process of completion. And the Spirit of God is moving in one's life if it is heading in the right direction.
